Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, getting an 81.1 score against 75.3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a newer phone than Asus ZenFone 5z, but it is somewhat thicker and much heavier. The Asus ZenFone 5z has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2246 resolution, it also counts with a quite higher display density.
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a higher amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone 5z has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a greater camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting photos in low light environments and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a way larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much longer battery performance than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 52 percent larger battery size.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
