Comparison review
ZTE Axon 20 is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 5z, getting a 77.8 score against 75.3. Even though the ZTE Axon 20 is noticeably newer than the Asus ZenFone 5z, it's heavier and a bit thicker. The Asus ZenFone 5z features a bit better screen than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 2246 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels amount in each inch in the display.
Asus ZenFone 5z has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than ZTE Axon 20, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a bit better processing power than ZTE Axon 20. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
ZTE Axon 20 has a much better camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a much bigger camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
The ZTE Axon 20 features improved battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 28 percent greater battery capacity.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, ZTE Axon 20 is also cheaper than the Asus ZenFone 5z.
