Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019)'s general score of 77.8. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has Android 11 version, providing you a lot of extra features and a performance increase. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's design is thinner and lighter than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), despite of the fact that it was released 2 years before.

Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with better battery duration than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 25 percent greater battery size. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a larger aperture to capture better low-light photos, a way larger camera sensor, a lot higher 48 MP resolution back-facing camera and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). If you are trying to save some money, you can get Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
