Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), getting an 82.2 score against 77.8. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium construction is older, heavier and extremely thicker than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a lot better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium and Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) have really similar processors, both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) captures slightly better videos and photos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels, a bigger sensor and better video frame rates.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 41% greater battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), giving up some specifications.
