Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a 77.8 score against 76.6. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) body is a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it is just a little thicker and was released about 12 months before. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a more recent 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, giving some extra features and optimized performance.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a higher amount of RAM. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also counts with a little bit better display pixel density.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a camera with a 48 MP, a same size aperture and a 0.5 inches sensor, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's battery life is very similar to Asus ZenFone 6 (2019)'s battery performance, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a 5020mAh battery size against 5000mAh.
Although Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, letting go a couple features and specs.
