Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, getting a overall score of 90.9 against 88.3. These phones use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the previous 10 version while Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has Android 11 version. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro design is just a bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, even though both of them were only released 2 months apart.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a just a bit worse display pixels density, a bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro's CPU is just as good as Asus ZenFone 7 Pro's processor, both of them have 8 CPU cores and a 8 GB RAM.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, because although it has a much worse 3840x2160 video definition, a lot less MP resolution back facing camera and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos and video in low light situations, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro features a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with a little better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
