Comparison review
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has a score of 88.3, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A42's 87 general score. These phones work with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features. Despite being the best in this review, we must highlight that it's also somewhat thicker and heavier.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a better display density, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit larger display. The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM.
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro also has a lot better video quality and a camera in the back with way more megapixels. Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A42, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity.
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A42 both count with very similar batteries duration.
