Comparison review
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy M40, with a global score of 88.3 against 85. Even though the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro is newer than the Samsung Galaxy M40, it's extremely heavier and thicker. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy M40 has Android 10, providing the user a couple nice extra features.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro features a little bit better display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels quantity per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has more internal storage and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro features a better camera than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much higher 64 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a lot better 7680x4320 video quality.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
