Huawei P40 is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 7, with a global score of 86.4 against 83.9. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has the older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 7 has Android 11 version. Huawei P40 is a noticeably lighter and thinner device than the Asus ZenFone 7, even though both were released with only 5 months difference.
Asus ZenFone 7 features a bit better looking display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little lower pixel density, it also counts with a bit bigger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Asus ZenFone 7 has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Huawei P40 and Asus ZenFone 7 count with quite similar CPUs, both have 6 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei P40 captures clearer photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a much worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a lot worse resolution back camera and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking images in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much larger sensor capturing lot higher quality photographs and videos.
The Asus ZenFone 7 counts with better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has a 32 percent more battery capacity.
