Asus ZenFone 7 has a score of 83.9, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 overall score. Despite being the best in this comparison, Asus ZenFone 7's construction is notably older, much heavier and incredibly thicker than Motorola Edge 40. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 7 has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.

Asus ZenFone 7 features a much better performing processor than Motorola Edge 40, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a little sharper display than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with much more brightness and a little bit better amount of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Asus ZenFone 7 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality and a way tinier aperture which is not so good for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a lot more megapixels camera in the back and a way higher video quality.

Asus ZenFone 7 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
