Comparison review
Xperia 5 II is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 7, getting a general score of 87.2 against 83.9. Xperia 5 II is a thinner and extremely lighter phone than Asus ZenFone 7, even though both were released with only a couple of months difference. The Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a slightly better display than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a just a bit worse pixels amount per inch of display, it also counts with a bit larger display.
The Asus ZenFone 7 features a better memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia 5 II, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Sony Xperia 5 II features a CPU that's just as good as the Asus ZenFone 7 one, and although the Sony Xperia 5 II has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Asus ZenFone 7 features longer battery life than Xperia 5 II, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Asus ZenFone 7 shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have a 0.59 inches sensor, the Asus ZenFone 7 also counts with a way higher video resolution and a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
