Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 8, having an 85.5 score against 83. Despite being the best phone we are comparing, Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is an extremely heavier and just a bit thicker phone than Asus ZenFone 8. These phones work with the same Android 11 OS. Asus ZenFone 8 and Asus ZenFone 8 Flip count with very similar processors, and although the Asus ZenFone 8 has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
Asus ZenFone 8 features a slightly better looking display than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch and a bit more brightness.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 2 TB. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, although it has slower video frame rate, they both have the same camera aperture, the same back-facing camera sensor size, a 64 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and the same video definition.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip features greater battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
