Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is much better than the Motorola Edge 40, with an 85.5 score against 77.2. These devices come with Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has an older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version. Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is an older, heavier and extremely thicker phone than Motorola Edge 40.
Motorola Edge 40 has a display that's just as good as the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip one, because although the Motorola Edge 40 has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display and a little bit brighter display.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 2 TB. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 40. Both of them have 8 GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip takes a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor which provides a worse photo and video quality and a way tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much higher resolution back camera.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has just a little better battery duration than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
