Comparison review
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy M40, having a global score of 85.5 against 85. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a more recent 11 version while Samsung Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version. Although Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is newer than Samsung Galaxy M40, it's extremely heavier and thicker.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a bit sharper display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a little bigger screen and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 2 TB. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos and/or video in low light situations, it also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels, a lot better 7680x4320 video quality and a lot larger camera sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality.
