Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, with a score of 90.5 against 85.5. These devices include the same Android 11 OS (operating system). The Xperia 5 III construction is thinner and way lighter than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, even though both were only released with a few months difference.
The Xperia 5 III's processing unit is just as good as the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip one, both of them have a 8 GB RAM memory and 8 cores. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has a little sharper screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite lower pixels density, it also counts with a quite bigger display.
Asus ZenFone 8 Flip captures much better photos and videos than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have a same size sensor, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega pixels and a lot better 7680x4320 video definition.
The Sony Xperia 5 III counts with just a bit more memory for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB against 2 TB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus ZenFone 8 Flip features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia 5 III, because it has an 11% more battery size.
