Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5s is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 8, getting a score of 84.9 against 83. Even being the best phone in this comparison, we must highlight that it is also a somewhat thicker and way heavier phone. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 5s has a newer 12 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11 version.
Asus ZenFone 8 has a little bit better display than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has less bright screen, a bit worse 1080 x 2400px resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater number of pixels per inch of display. Asus ROG Phone 5s features as much memory to install applications and games as the Asus ZenFone 8 one, they have equal 128 GB internal storage.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s has a bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Asus ROG Phone 5s takes a bit better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 64 MP resolution, a same size camera sensor, a same size aperture and the same 7680x4320 video definition, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has faster 30 fps video frame rates.
Asus ROG Phone 5s has a much longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.
