Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 8, with a global score of 90.9 against 83. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a just a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier phone than Asus ZenFone 8. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11 version.
Asus ZenFone 8 features a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a bit smaller screen and a just a little worse screen density. Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a superior storage to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has more internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Asus ZenFone 8 has a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a way smaller sensor which offers a lot worse photo and video quality, it also counts with a lot better resolution back facing camera, a larger aperture for better captures in poorly lited situations and a way better 7680x4320 video quality.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with just a bit better battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
