Comparison review
Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having a general score of 83 against 78.7. The Asus ZenFone 8 body has the same weight than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it's thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 8 has the previous 11 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Asus ZenFone 8 has just a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little lower pixels number per inch in the display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px, it also counts with a little bit larger display. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's memory capacity for apps and games is very similar to the Asus ZenFone 8 one, both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little faster CPU than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a battery performance that's just as good as the battery duration in Asus ZenFone 8. The Asus ZenFone 8 takes a lot better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a camera with a lot higher 64 mega-pixels resolution, a lot larger sensor which offers a way better image and video quality, a larger aperture and a way better video resolution.
