Huawei Mate X is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 8, with an 89.4 score against 83. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11 version, providing a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Even being the best phone we are comparing here, Huawei Mate X is an older, extremely heavier and thicker phone than Asus ZenFone 8.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a bit better CPU than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ZenFone 8 has a better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a lot better camera than Huawei Mate X, and although they both have a 0.59 inches sensor and a same size diafragm aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a way more mega pixels back facing camera. Huawei Mate X features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has more internal memory.
Huawei Mate X has a bit superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 13 percent larger battery size.
