Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 8's overall score of 83. Even though the Huawei P40 is older and a little bit heavier than the Asus ZenFone 8, it's design is still a bit thinner. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has 10 version and Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11 version.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a better display than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit better pixels density. Huawei P40 counts with a CPU that is just as good as Asus ZenFone 8's CPU, both have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores.
The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei P40, because although it has a way tinier sensor offering a lot lower image quality, it also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera, a much better 7680x4320 video definition and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and videos.
