The Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than the Huawei P50 Pro, getting an 83 score against 80. Although Asus ZenFone 8 and the Huawei P50 Pro were released with only 3 months difference, the Asus ZenFone 8 design is just a bit thicker but somewhat lighter. Asus ZenFone 8 works with Android 11 OS, while Huawei P50 Pro comes with HarmonyOS OS.
The Asus ZenFone 8 features a bit better screen than Huawei P50 Pro, although it has a quite smaller screen, a just a little less pixels per inch of display and a bit lower 1080 x 2400px resolution. The Huawei P50 Pro's processing unit is just as good as Asus ZenFone 8's processor, and although the Huawei P50 Pro has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
The Huawei P50 Pro has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has more internal memory. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots much better photographs and videos than Huawei P50 Pro, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a lot more mega-pixels camera.
Huawei P50 Pro features a bit longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 9 percent more battery size.
