The Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than LG Q70, getting an 83 score against 77.9. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Asus ZenFone 8 has the newer 11 version and LG Q70 has Android 10 version. Asus ZenFone 8's construction is newer and somewhat lighter than LG Q70's, but it is a little thicker.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has just a little better hardware performance than LG Q70, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Asus ZenFone 8 has a sharper screen than LG Q70, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a just a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The LG Q70 features much more storage to install applications and games than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Q70's battery life is just as good as the battery performance in Asus ZenFone 8.
The Asus ZenFone 8 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than LG Q70, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality, a back-facing camera with a way better 64 mega-pixels resolution and a much larger back camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
