Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8's 83 overall score. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Motorola edge has the older 10 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11 version. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, Motorola edge is an older, a little thicker and heavier cellphone than the Asus ZenFone 8.
Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a bit better processor than Motorola edge. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a better looking display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better display density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
The Motorola edge counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with just a bit better camera than Motorola edge, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, a same resolution back-facing camera and a 0.59 inches sensor, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a way higher video quality.
The Motorola edge features a little longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 13% bigger battery capacity.
