The Motorola Edge 20 is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 8, with an 86.1 score against 83. These phones have the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. The Motorola Edge 20 body is somewhat thinner and a little lighter than Asus ZenFone 8, even when both were only released 3 months apart.
