Motorola Edge 50 Pro's body is extremely newer and just a little bit thinner than the Asus ZenFone 8's, although it is also a little bit heavier.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a bit better screen than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has a little worse pixels count per inch in the display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also counts with a bit larger display and way more brightness. Asus ZenFone 8 has a very superior processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a superior storage to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 384 GB more internal memory.
