The Asus ZenFone 8 is slightly better than the Moto G9 Plus, with a global score of 83 against 80.5. Even when the Asus ZenFone 8 and Moto G9 Plus were released with only a couple of months difference, the Asus ZenFone 8 is a little bit thinner and incredibly lighter. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone 8 has a more recent 11 version and Moto G9 Plus has Android 10, so it provides the user lots of additional features and performance optimizations.

The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little better performance than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Asus ZenFone 8 features a sharper screen than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a quite greater display pixel density.

The Asus ZenFone 8 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, a 0.59 inches camera sensor and a same size aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a much better 7680x4320 video definition. The Moto G9 Plus counts with greater battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
