Asus ZenFone 8 is slightly better than Nokia 9 PureView, getting an 83 score against 76.4. Even though Asus ZenFone 8 is thicker than the Nokia 9 PureView, it's a little lighter and also a lot newer. The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with just a bit better screen than Nokia 9 PureView, although it has a quite smaller display, a just a little worse pixels density and a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Nokia 9 PureView features a processing unit that is just as good as the Asus ZenFone 8 one, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM memory. The Nokia 9 PureView features as much memory capacity for applications and games as Asus ZenFone 8, both have exactly the same internal memory.
Asus ZenFone 8 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Nokia 9 PureView, and although they both have the same aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a way higher 7680x4320 video quality, a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a lot larger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and pictures.
The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with better battery life than Nokia 9 PureView, because it has a 20% bigger battery size.
