Comparison review

The Galaxy M40 is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 8, with a general score of 85 against 83. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11. Galaxy M40's design is thinner and a little bit lighter than Asus ZenFone 8, even though it was released just 23 months before.

Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy M40. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM memory. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Asus ZenFone 8 captures better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking images and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera, a much larger back camera sensor taking way higher quality photos and a way higher video quality.

The Galaxy M40 counts with a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M40 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. Asus ZenFone 8 features just a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
