Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 is a little bit better than Galaxy XCover 5, having a global score of 83 against 78.1. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect. The Asus ZenFone 8 body is a bit thinner and just a little lighter than Galaxy XCover 5, even when they were only released with a couple months difference.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot higher 1080 x 2400px resolution, a quite bigger display and a greater pixel number per inch of screen. Asus ZenFone 8 has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Asus ZenFone 8 shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a way higher 7680x4320 video definition and a back camera with way more mega-pixels. The Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB.
The Asus ZenFone 8 features better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity.
