Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8, with a 91 score against 83. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System). Although the Sony Xperia 1 II is older and a bit heavier than the Asus ZenFone 8, it's body is still thinner. The Sony Xperia 1 II and Asus ZenFone 8 both feature really similar processors, and although the Sony Xperia 1 II has a larger amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.

Xperia 1 II has a screen that is just as good as the Asus ZenFone 8 one, although the Xperia 1 II also has a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a quite bigger display and a higher pixel count in each inch in the screen. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a much better camera than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, and they both have a 0.59 inches sensor, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution and a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.

Sony Xperia 1 II features much more storage to store more games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB. Xperia 1 II's battery performance is very similar to Asus ZenFone 8's battery duration.
