Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone 8's 83 overall score. Even though Sony Xperia 1 III and Asus ZenFone 8 were released with only 2 months difference, the Sony Xperia 1 III body is just a little thinner but a little heavier. These phones have the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
Xperia 1 III has a screen that's just as good as the display in Asus ZenFone 8, although the Xperia 1 III also has a greater screen pixels density, a little bit larger screen and a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB.
Xperia 1 III has just a bit better performance than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 6 GB more RAM. Asus ZenFone 8 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same sensor size, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a much better video definition and a much more mega pixels back facing camera.
The Xperia 1 III has just a little bit longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
