Comparison review

Asus ZenFone 8 is slightly better than Xperia 1 V, with an 83 score against 82.7. Despite of the fact Asus ZenFone 8 is older and a bit thicker than Xperia 1 V, it's design is still a little bit lighter. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone 8 has the older 11 version and Xperia 1 V has Android 13.

The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a lot lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, a much worse pixels count per inch in the display and a little smaller screen. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a very superior hardware performance than Xperia 1 V, although it has 6 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.

The Xperia 1 V counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. The Xperia 1 V has greater battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 25% greater battery size. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1 V, because although it has a much smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, it also counts with a way better video definition, a larger aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a much more megapixels back camera.
