Comparison review
Xperia 1 VI has a global score of 83.2, which is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8's general score of 83. The Xperia 1 VI body is a lot lighter and noticeably thinner than Asus ZenFone 8. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Xperia 1 VI has the newer 14 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11, so it provides you lots of additional features.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a very superior processor than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ZenFone 8 has a bit sharper display than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, a bit smaller screen and a lot worse display density.
The Xperia 1 VI has a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB and 128 GB more internal storage. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1 VI, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light photos, a lot better video resolution and a way higher resolution back camera.
Sony Xperia 1 VI has better battery performance than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 25 percent more battery size.
