Sony Xperia 5 II is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8, with a general score of 87.2 against 83. The Sony Xperia 5 II is a a bit lighter and somewhat thinner phone than the Asus ZenFone 8, even though they were only released 7 months apart. Asus ZenFone 8 and Xperia 5 II count with very similar processors, and although the Xperia 5 II has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

Asus ZenFone 8 has just a bit better looking screen than Xperia 5 II, although it has a bit lower screen pixel density, a little bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Xperia 5 II counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.

Xperia 5 II's battery performance is just as good as the battery life in Asus ZenFone 8. Asus ZenFone 8 takes much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have a same size camera sensor, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a camera with a much better 64 megapixels resolution.
