Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, having an 83 score against 82.2. Asus ZenFone 8's design is extremely newer, noticeably lighter and much thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a brighter screen than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen and less brightness, it also counts with a lot higher quantity of pixels per display inch and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a processor that's very similar to the Asus ZenFone 8 one, both of them have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3540mAh. Asus ZenFone 8 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera, a lot better video quality and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
