Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a general score of 83, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 general score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone 8 has 11 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version. The Asus ZenFone 8 body is a little thicker but a little lighter than the Xiaomi 12, and they were released with only 8 months difference.
Asus ZenFone 8 has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same brightness and exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi 12, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ZenFone 8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 7680x4320 video quality, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a back facing camera with a way better resolution and a larger camera aperture.
Xiaomi 12 and Asus ZenFone 8 feature incredibly similar storage capacity for games and applications, they have equal internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi 12 features a bit better battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
