Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting a general score of 83 against 78.1. Although Asus ZenFone 8 is extremely newer than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, it is just a little heavier and somewhat thicker. These devices use Android operating system, but Asus ZenFone 8 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Asus ZenFone 8 features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a lot brighter display, a little larger display, a just a bit better pixel density and a little higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Asus ZenFone 8 and the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus feature really similar memory for apps and games, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory.
Asus ZenFone 8 has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has 4 more CPU cores. Asus ZenFone 8 has a little better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. Asus ZenFone 8 takes way better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution, a camera in the back with a way better resolution, a larger aperture and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality photographs.
