Asus ZenFone 8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with a score of 83 against 75.7. Asus ZenFone 8 is an older and somewhat thicker device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but Asus was able to make it a bit lighter anyway. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ZenFone 8 has 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12.
Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a much better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. The Asus ZenFone 8 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a bit brighter screen and a just a bit better number of pixels in each inch of display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Asus ZenFone 8 one, both of them have equal internal memory. Asus ZenFone 8 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality images, it also counts with a lot better video resolution, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light images and videos and a way higher resolution back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 25% larger battery capacity.
