Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 40 has an overall score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Asus Zenfone 9's 72.6 general score. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 40 has a newer 13 version and Asus Zenfone 9 has Android 12. Motorola Edge 40's construction is newer, thinner and just a little lighter than the Asus Zenfone 9.
The Motorola Edge 40 features a much better display than Asus Zenfone 9, because although it has a bit worse count of pixels per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a little bit bigger screen. The Motorola Edge 40's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Asus Zenfone 9, both have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Asus Zenfone 9 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a way smaller aperture and a tinier back camera sensor, and they both have a back facing camera with a 50 mega-pixels resolution, the Asus Zenfone 9 also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.
The Motorola Edge 40's memory for games and applications is very similar to the Asus Zenfone 9 one, they have exactly the same internal memory. The Motorola Edge 40 has just a bit longer battery performance than Asus Zenfone 9, because it has a 2 percent greater battery size.
