Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is better than the Asus Zenfone 9, with a general score of 83.4 against 72.6. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a newer 13 version while Asus Zenfone 9 has Android 12 version, giving you some additional features. Even though the Motorola Edge 40 Pro and Asus Zenfone 9 were released only 8 months apart, Motorola Edge 40 Pro's body is just a bit thinner but also heavier.
