Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is better than Asus Zenfone 9's 72.6 general score. Galaxy A42 is an older and heavier cellphone than Asus Zenfone 9, but Samsung managed to make it just a bit thinner anyway. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has 11 version while Asus Zenfone 9 has Android 12 version.
The Galaxy A42 has a very superior performance than Asus Zenfone 9, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Asus Zenfone 9 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and much more pixels per display inch.
Galaxy A42 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Asus Zenfone 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1000 GB. Galaxy A42 has superior battery duration than Asus Zenfone 9, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4300mAh.
The Asus Zenfone 9 has a better camera than Galaxy A42, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photos or videos in low-light environments, it also counts with a more MP camera in the back and a much higher video resolution.
