Comparison review
Galaxy A7 (2017) has a general score of 75.8, which is a little bit better than the Asus Zenfone 9's global score of 72.6. Despite of the fact Galaxy A7 (2017) is much older and just a little bit heavier than the Asus Zenfone 9, it's design is still somewhat thinner. The Galaxy A7 (2017) has a little sharper display than Asus Zenfone 9, although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, a little less pixels per inch of display and a little smaller screen.
The Asus Zenfone 9 features a bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has a way better hardware performance than Asus Zenfone 9, although it has 5 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Asus Zenfone 9 features longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3600mAh. The Asus Zenfone 9 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have a F1.9 camera aperture, the Asus Zenfone 9 also has a back camera with much more MP and a way better video resolution.
