The Galaxy A9 (2018) is much better than Asus Zenfone 9, getting an 85.2 score against 72.6. Despite of the fact Galaxy A9 (2018) is much older and just a little heavier than the Asus Zenfone 9, it's construction is still thinner. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a really superior processing power than Asus Zenfone 9, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy A9 (2018) has a little sharper display than Asus Zenfone 9, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution and a bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little larger display. Asus Zenfone 9 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a lot better 7680x4320 video quality.
The Galaxy A9 (2018) has a much better storage for games and applications than Asus Zenfone 9, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Asus Zenfone 9 has just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 3800mAh.
