The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than the Asus Zenfone 9, getting a 78.1 score against 72.6. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has an older 11 version and Asus Zenfone 9 has Android 12. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's body has the same thickness than the Asus Zenfone 9, but it's just a little heavier.
Asus Zenfone 9 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little bigger screen and more pixels per inch of display. Galaxy XCover 5 has a much better processing power than Asus Zenfone 9, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Asus Zenfone 9 captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a camera in the back with a lot higher 50 mega pixels resolution and a much higher video definition. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus Zenfone 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB.
Asus Zenfone 9 features a superior battery performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 43 percent more battery capacity.
