Comparison review
The Xiaomi 12 Pro is slightly better than the Asus Zenfone 9, getting a overall score of 79.6 against 72.6. Xiaomi 12 Pro's construction is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than the Asus Zenfone 9, and both of them were released only 7 months apart. Both of these devices use the same Android 12 OS, so they should provide very similar OS features.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a much sharper display than Asus Zenfone 9, because it has a bit higher number of pixels in each screen inch, a little bit larger screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The Xiaomi 12 Pro's memory capacity for applications and games is very similar to the Asus Zenfone 9 one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a processor that is just as good as Asus Zenfone 9's processing unit, both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. Xiaomi 12 Pro has a little better battery life than Asus Zenfone 9, because it has a 4600mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi 12 Pro captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Asus Zenfone 9, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a same size aperture, the same video resolution and a same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
