Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 is a lot better than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), having a 77.7 score against 63.2. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M1) has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy S5's design is just a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), although it was released 4 years before.

The Galaxy S5 features a lot better screen than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel count per inch in the screen and a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1440. Asus ZenFone Max (M1) features more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Asus ZenFone Max (M1) also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB.

Samsung Galaxy S5 has a greater performance than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), and although they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has an additional graphics processing unit. The Asus ZenFone Max (M1) counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Galaxy S5 captures better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a more megapixels back facing camera and a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Galaxy S5 is also the cheapest, making this phone a simple decision.
