Comparison review

Xperia Z3 is a lot better than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), with a score of 77.3 against 63.2. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z3 has older 4.4.4 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M1) has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even being the best cellphone we are comparing here, Xperia Z3's body is incredibly older, somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker than the Asus ZenFone Max (M1).

The Sony Xperia Z3 has a better CPU than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), and although they both have 4 cores, the Sony Xperia Z3 also has an additional graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM. Xperia Z3 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1920 x 1080 resolution and a higher pixel count per display inch.

Xperia Z3 features a little bit more storage for games and applications than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity. Asus ZenFone Max (M1) features greater battery duration than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a 25% greater battery size.

The Xperia Z3 has a superior camera than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), and although they both have a same size aperture, the Xperia Z3 also has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.

Xperia Z3 is a bit more expensive than Asus ZenFone Max (M1), but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
