Asus ROG Phone 3 is a lot better than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), having a global score of 86.3 against 71.6. Although Asus ROG Phone 3 is newer than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), it's extremely heavier and incredibly thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a much sharper display than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340, a better pixel density and a little bit bigger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a greater hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a superior battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 3 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a lot higher video quality and a back camera with much more mega-pixels.
