Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), getting a general score of 77.8 against 71.6. These devices include Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has the older 11 version and Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) is a better device than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2), it must be told that it's also a thicker and somewhat heavier device.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a bit faster CPU than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has 2 GB more RAM. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a brighter screen than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a bit bigger screen and a way better screen density.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) captures much better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same video quality, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a much more mega-pixels back camera and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) and Asus ZenFone Max (M2) both count with similar storage to store more apps and games, both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has longer battery life than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
