Asus ZenFone 8 has an overall score of 83, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s global score of 71.6. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone 8 has the previous 11 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although Asus ZenFone 8 is newer than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2), it's just a bit heavier and thicker.

Asus ZenFone 8 features a much sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels amount per screen inch and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
